HHN25 Countdown: 45 Days To Go!

Today marks 45 more days until Universal Orlando kicks off their 25th edition of their award winning event, Halloween Horror Nights. For fans of the annual event, this time of year is ripe with anticipation as information is slowly bled out to the masses.

To date, Universal has revealed the following:

  • Jack is back! Jack the Clown will once again headline this year’s outing and is the focal point that the event will be built around. Additional information is not released yet around Jack Schmidt’s actual role in HHN25, but it is suspected that he will potentially headline a house built around past icons of the event.
  • HHN25 will feature their largest house count in history, with 9 offerings:
    • Insidious: Building on the popularity of the 2013 house that was used in the Hollywood version of HHN, Insidious will make it’s Orlando debut this year and will be based on features from all 3 Insidious movies.
    • Freddy vs. Jason: 2003 gave moviegoers a dream come true when 2 of horror’s most iconic characters faced off to determine who would be king of the hill in an all out slasher battle. This year, HHN25 will feature the main characters from Friday The 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street as they battle in standout settings from both franchises. The Universal creative team has amped up excitement by stating that the winner of the battle will be ever changing and will vary based on when you visit the house.
    • The Walking Dead: The ever popular AMC franchise will again return to HHN and this time will be based on season 5. The Walking Dead will immerse visitors in memorable scenes from last season, including walkers featured in waist deep water as well as hidden in walker bomb trucks.
    • Additional house information is still forthcoming and expected to trickle in on a weekly basis until the end of August when all remaining details are revealed.
  • HHN25 will also feature 5 individually based scare zones. Additionally, Universal has announced that they will also deploy roaming scareactors throughout the park to add even more scares. Details around scare zones are expected to be released over the upcoming weeks.

Pricing for the event, dates, and package information is available at: Halloween Horror Nights Orlando.

Loved this video but really wanted to comment that I like the look and feel of the redesigned website. Much easier to navigate and a much cleaner look to it. Great job.
